Wattyl Killrust Etch Primer is a fast-drying, high-performance, single-pack epoxy primer designed to promote excellent paint adhesion on bare metal surfaces. Its anti-corrosive formulation contains rust-inhibiting pigments to help protect metal against damaging rust and corrosion.

Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, Killrust Etch Primer can be applied to ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, aluminium, galvanised iron, brass, copper, stainless steel, zincanneal and lead. It provides a reliable foundation for compatible finishing coats on metal structures, fixtures and fittings.

Supplied in a 4L container, this grey primer dries to a matt finish and is suitable for brush, roller or spray gun application. With a surface drying time of approximately 5 minutes and a recoat time of 1 hour under specified conditions, it is ideal for efficient metal preparation and painting projects.
