Tectyl 506 is a premium solvent-based, wax-type corrosion preventative coating designed to protect metal surfaces against rust, moisture and corrosive conditions. It cures to a firm, translucent dark amber protective film suitable for long-term metal preservation.

Ideal for automotive underbodies, vehicle components, machinery, tools and industrial equipment, Tectyl 506 provides corrosion protection during indoor and outdoor storage, transport and marine-related applications. The 20L container is well suited to workshops, industrial maintenance and larger rustproofing projects.

Apply by brush or low-pressure spray to clean, dry metal surfaces. Tectyl 506 is formulated for use as supplied and can be removed using compatible cleaning products when protection is no longer required.
