SIKA Sika Primer-209 D Black Plastic Primer 250ml

Sika Primer-209 D is a black, solvent-based adhesion primer designed to prepare plastic and painted surfaces before bonding with Sika one-component polyurethane adhesives. Its moisture-reactive formulation creates a thin bonding layer between the substrate and adhesive.

Ideal for professional bonding applications, this primer improves adhesion on compatible plastics and coatings, including PVC, ABS, acrylics, epoxy resins and powder-coated surfaces. On certain plastics, it may provide excellent adhesion without a separate activation step.

Apply a single thin, covering coat to a clean, dry surface using a brush, felt or foam applicator. Suitable for experienced professional users; always test adhesion and substrate compatibility before use.

Key Features

  • Improved Adhesion: Promotes bonding between compatible painted or plastic surfaces and Sika polyurethane adhesives.
  • Plastic and Paint Compatibility: Suitable for a wide range of plastics, resins and industrial coatings.
  • Moisture-Reactive Formula: Forms a thin primer layer that supports adhesive bonding.
  • Single-Coat Application: Applied with a brush, felt or foam applicator.
