FOR BEST RESULTS

Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. Spray in a steady back-and-forth motion.

APPLICATION

  • Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle
  • Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and contaminents from painting surface
  • Lightly sand surface (320G - 400G)
  • On some tricky surfaces, a primer is recommended (like bare wood and metal)
  • Apply two or more coats a few minutes apart

DRY & RECOAT TIMES

  • Touch Dry: 20 minutes
  • To handle: 1 hour
  • Fully Dry: 24 hours
  • On plastic: maximum durability after 5-7 days

    The darkness that doesn't reflect my soul... because it's matte black.

    So when I began to paint my walls flat black, the air conditioner was a sore spot. Could I learn to ignore it? Cover it in some kind of vinyl cling? Thanks to YouTube, I discovered the delightful news that I could paint it (shoutout to Painting by Josh, freaking great tutorial).

    But the walls were FLAT black. Shiny paint would stick out like a sore goth thumb. Dare I hope that there was a spray paint in matte?

    Hell yes there was! Rustoleum comes through again. At this point I'm not sure why I check other brands, 'cos they come through with the goods every time. I still will though. Slavish loyalty to brands is a rerrible idea.

    Aircon looks fab, and my lounge room is well on the way to looking like something the Addams Family would be proud of. Bliss. Dark, shadowy bliss.
