POR-15 2K Urethane Industrial high wear Top Coat paints are tough, glossy, two-component coatings for use over POR-15 Stop Rust under coating system, primed, or painted surfaces.

They are moisture cured, so exposure to moisture and humidity will actually improve their performance and strength.

When fully cured, POR-15 2K Urethane Paints are a rock-hard, chemical resistant, non-porous, and incredibly tough coating. Durable and easily cleaned, they will not crack, chip, peel, or fade with age. POR-15 2K Urethane paints will withstand even the most intensive UV environments.

POR-15 2K Urethane paints are also excellent for industrial applications. Use our safety colors on machinery guards or heavy equipment. Use POR-15 2K Urethane top coat paints on trailers, chassis, skid plate, and other undercarriage parts of your car, truck, or motorcycle, and quit worrying about stone chips and gravel roads. You'll be amazed at the toughness of this urethane clear coat paint!

When using POR-15 2K Urethane Clear, it is recommended to use POR-15 Alloy Prep (formerly AP-120 Metal Prep) for a more gentle etching on alloys and other soft metals like aluminum, brass, and copper.

DIRECTIONS:

Please read directions fully before proceeding so that you understand the complete POR-15 2K Urethane Part A and POR-15 2k Urethane Hardener Activator process.

Surface must be clean, dry, and in sound condition. Remove all oil, dust, grease, dirt, loose rust, and other foreign material to ensure adequate adhesion.

For all metal surfaces: Remove all oil and grease from surface with POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser following directions on container. Prepare the surface to be coated using POR-15 Metal Prep. For optimum performance prime any bare metal with POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating.

APPLICATION:

Mix contents of each component thoroughly with low speed power agitation prior to combining 2K Urethane Part A with Part B 2k Urethane Hardener Activator. Make certain no pigment remains on the bottom of the can. After each component is fully mixed, combine 3 parts by volume of 2K Urethane Part A with 1 part by volume of Part B 2k Urethane Hardener Activator. Thoroughly agitate the mixture with power agitation for 5 minutes. Apply with natural bristle brush or spray (Read all warnings and use adequate safety equipment during application). We recommend mixing and testing a very small amount before being your project. Depending on environmental conditions, the chemical reaction may occur to quickly resulting in bubbles in the finish. To reduce bubbles and achieve smoother results use POR-15 Solvent and thin 5%-20% depending on your areas VOC laws.

POT LIFE: 2 hours.

DRY TIME: 12 hours.

RE-COAT TIME: 6 hours.
