POR-15 Rust Preventive Paint is a professional moisture-cured coating engineered to stop rust permanently by sealing rusted, seasoned and properly prepared metal surfaces. Unlike conventional paints that cure by solvent evaporation, POR-15 cures by absorbing moisture from the atmosphere, creating an incredibly tough, non-porous barrier that resists rust, chemicals, salt, moisture and everyday abrasion.

Ideal for chassis, suspension components, frames, underbodies, trailers, fuel tanks, marine equipment, industrial machinery and restoration projects, POR-15 can be applied directly over properly prepared rusted metal without the need for complete rust removal. Its unique chemistry penetrates and seals porous rust while forming an exceptionally durable protective coating.

Finished in Semi-Gloss Black, POR-15 provides long-lasting corrosion protection for automotive, marine, industrial and restoration applications. For surfaces exposed to direct sunlight, POR-15 should be top coated with a UV-resistant finish once the coating reaches the appropriate recoat stage.

Application
