POR-15 High Temp Flat Black Heat Resistant Paint 236ml
POR-15 High Temp Flat Black is a high-performance heat-resistant coating designed to protect and refinish metal surfaces exposed to extreme temperatures. Formerly associated with the Black Velvet name, this coating withstands temperatures up to 649°C (1200°F), making it ideal for exhaust manifolds, headers, exhaust pipes and other high-heat metal components.
Its durable flat black finish resists cracking, chipping, peeling and discolouration while providing resistance to weather, salt and moisture. The direct-to-metal formulation is designed for properly prepared surfaces without requiring a separate primer or top coat.
Apply by brush or thin with POR-15 Reducer Solvent for suitable spray equipment. For best results, clean and mechanically prepare the metal before applying thin coats. Follow the manufacturer's drying and heat-curing instructions to achieve maximum coating hardness.
