POR-15 Fuel Tank Sealer 946ml For Metal Fuel Tank Restoration
POR-15 Fuel Tank Sealer is a specialist internal coating designed to protect metal fuel tanks against rust, corrosion and small leaks. It chemically bonds to properly prepared metal surfaces, forming a tough, flexible, non-porous lining that helps seal pinholes and seams.
Ideal for automotive restoration, classic cars, motorcycles and metal fuel tank repairs, this silver-grey sealer is resistant to petrol, diesel, alcohol-blended fuels and fuel additives. The 946ml size is suitable for coating the interior of metal fuel tanks with a capacity of up to approximately 95 litres.
For best results, thoroughly clean the tank using POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser and prepare the metal with POR-15 Metal Prep. Ensure the tank is completely dry before applying the sealer, rotate to coat all internal surfaces, drain excess product and allow at least 96 hours of curing before returning the tank to service.
