POR-15 Engine Enamel Black High Temperature Engine Paint 473ml

POR-15 Engine Enamel Black is a high-temperature automotive engine paint designed to refinish and protect engine blocks and associated metal components. Its rich black colour and gloss finish make it suitable for classic vehicle restorations, engine rebuilds and custom engine bay projects.

Formulated with high pigment content and self-levelling properties, this engine enamel provides smooth coverage and durable colour retention. It helps protect properly prepared metal against moisture and corrosion, with temperature resistance up to 177°C (350°F) continuously and 260°C (500°F) intermittently.

Apply by brush or suitable HVLP spray equipment to prepared engine blocks, air cleaner assemblies, pulleys, brackets and balancers. POR-15 Engine Enamel can be used over POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating as part of a protective finishing system. Allow 4–6 days before starting the engine.

Key Features

Engine detail without the tape & paper.

I needed to detail my block before a show, the brush on paint was a lot easier than masking off half the car. Paint is nice viscosity which helps when applying on vertical and upside down surfaces. Dried well with very little fumes. Small tin will go a long way.
