POR-15 Alloy Prep is a water-based metal preparation treatment designed to improve coating adhesion on difficult-to-paint metals, including polished aluminium, chrome, brass and copper. It helps prepare metal surfaces for compatible clear coatings while preserving their natural appearance.

Developed for use with POR-15 2K Urethane Clear and POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating Clear, Alloy Prep provides a practical preparation step for automotive restoration, polished metal refinishing and protective coating applications.

Apply by brush or spray and keep the metal wet for two minutes before rinsing thoroughly with water. Allow the surface to dry completely before coating. Test on an inconspicuous area first, particularly on aluminium, to check for possible discolouration.
