PLUS Rust Converter & Primer 5L Rust Treatment for Metal

PLUS Rust Converter & Primer 5L is an industrial-strength rust treatment designed to chemically convert existing corrosion while preparing metal surfaces for protective painting. Its combined rust conversion and priming action helps simplify the restoration and maintenance of corroded metal.

Suitable for rusted steel, iron and oxidised metal surfaces, this treatment helps stabilise corrosion and prepare surfaces for subsequent coatings. The 5L container is particularly practical for larger automotive, machinery, structural steel, trailer and general maintenance projects.

Remove loose rust, scale, dirt, oil and grease before application, leaving firmly attached rust for the converter to react with. Apply by brush, roller, dipping, mopping or suitable non-pressure spray equipment. Allow treated surfaces to dry completely and follow the manufacturer's surface-specific cleaning and overcoating directions.

Key Features

  • Rust Conversion: Chemically treats existing corrosion to help stabilise rusted metal.
  • Combined Primer Action: Prepares treated surfaces for subsequent protective coatings.
  • Corrosion Protection: Helps seal treated metal against further deterioration.
  • Fast-Drying Treatment: Approximately 60 minutes drying time under suitable low-humidity conditions.
  • Large-Area Coverage: Industrial 5L size suitable for extensive metal maintenance and restoration.
