PERMATEX Spray Sealant Leak Repair Aerosol 340g PX82099

A sprayable sealer that forms a durable rubber barrier that stop leaks in minutes. The wicking action seals hard-to-reach leaks without the need for disassembling or removing parts. Designed specifically to target low pressure leaks in hoses, oil pans, differentials, transmission pans, fluid reservoirs as well as plastic, PVC and metal pipes, their connections and much more! Eliminates the need for liquid additive sealers that can swell and foul internal seals. Resists common shop fluids. Note: In many cases, more than one coat will be needed to solve the problem.

Manages the oil leak until a permanent fix can be applied

Bought this to reduce a boxer engine head gasket oil leak until the next timing belt replacement is due, when I'll pull the heads and replace the gaskets. It seems to do the job, no pool of oil under my car when I park it now. Still a little bit of oil on the underside of the engine but I honestly wasn't expecting miracles, I'm very happy with the product.

Permatex spay sealant

Wow i was so surprised, it worked on a cylinder head gasket oil leak.
I cleaned the area with brake cleaning spray
After warming the bike engine up.
I sprayed 6 coats and made sure the excess was cleaned up with brake fluid.
Watch this alot of product comes out and it can get on other parts.

Have run the bike with total success.
Fantastic

Works like it says, maybe could be improved with a little more controlled release, not exactly cheap. Definitely works as described. Would recommend.

Product Review

My oil pressure switch was leaking oil, sprayed this product several time over a few days, the leak has now stop. Need to let the product cure first before reapplying again.
The product worked really well. Thank you.

Great product

It has worked out really well for me. I’ve used it to seal a leak in between the 2 casings of my manual transmission. It’s been a week now and so far so good.
