Matrix Edge Universal Clearcoat MS-52 is a premium 2K urethane clearcoat developed to deliver exceptional gloss, durability and ease of application across a wide range of automotive refinishing applications. Designed as a versatile 4:1 clearcoat, it provides excellent flow, levelling and film build, making it ideal for spot repairs, complete panel refinishing and full vehicle resprays.

Suitable for use over all Matrix Edge refinish basecoats, MS-52 offers reliable performance under varying workshop conditions while producing a deep, high-gloss finish with excellent appearance and long-term durability. Its simple mixing ratio and broad hardener compatibility make it an excellent choice for professional repairers.

Application

• Mixing Ratio: Mix 4 parts MS-52 Universal Clearcoat with 1 part compatible Matrix Edge MH-Series Hardener.
• Compatible Hardeners: MH-43 Premium Hardener, MH-005 Normal Premium Hardener, MH-006 Slow Premium Hardener or MH-008 Very Slow Premium Hardener.
• Substrates: Apply over all Matrix Edge refinish basecoats and properly prepared OEM finishes.
• Application Method: Apply 2 to 3 single wet coats.
• Edge Blending: Where clear cannot be carried to a panel edge, MX-840 EZ Blend Edge Blender may be used.

Technical Data

• POT LIFE at 25°C (77°F): 30–60 minutes.
• SPRAY GUN SET UP: 1.3–1.4mm fluid tip recommended.
• FLASH / DRY TIMES – AIR DRY at 25°C (77°F):
