Matrix Edge MP-235 DTM Surfacer/Sealer is a premium high-build direct-to-metal primer and sealer developed for automotive repair and restoration. Designed for excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance and sanding performance, MP-235 can be used as either a high-build primer surfacer or as a sealer simply by adjusting the mixing ratio.

Suitable for application directly over properly prepared bare steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, sanded OEM finishes and body fillers, MP-235 eliminates the need for a separate wash primer while delivering outstanding filling properties and a smooth foundation for topcoats.

Application

• Primer Surfacer Mixing Ratio: 4 Parts MP-235 : 1 Part MH-232 DTM Hardener : 1 Part MR-Series Reducer.
• Primer Sealer Mixing Ratio: 4 Parts MP-235 : 1 Part MH-232 DTM Hardener : 2 Parts MR-Series Reducer.
• Compatible Reducers: MR-0960 (Cool), MR-0970 (Medium), MR-0985 (Hot) or MR-0995 (Very Hot).
• Primer Surfacer Application: Apply 1–3 medium wet coats allowing each coat to flash completely dull before applying the next.
• Primer Sealer Application: Apply 1–2 medium wet coats allowing each coat to flash completely dull before topcoating.
