Matrix Edge MP-460 Epoxy Primer Grey is a premium 2.1 VOC epoxy primer developed to provide outstanding adhesion and corrosion resistance on properly prepared steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, fibreglass and body filler. Featuring a simple 1:1 mixing ratio, it creates an ideal foundation for subsequent primer, basecoat and topcoat applications while delivering excellent substrate protection.
Designed for professional automotive refinishing, restoration and collision repair, MP-460 can be used as both an epoxy primer and sealer. It forms part of the Matrix Edge refinishing system and is compatible with Matrix Edge 2K Primer Sealers, Single Stage coatings and Basecoat/Clearcoat systems.

Application
- Mixing Ratio: 1 Part MP-460 Epoxy Primer to 1 Part MAV-465 Epoxy Primer Activator.
- Substrates: Properly prepared steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, fibreglass, body filler, cured OEM finishes, SMC, ABS and polycarbonate.
- Application Method: Apply 2–3 single coats at approximately 1.0–1.5 mil film build.
- Recoat Window: Topcoat within 48 hours. If more than 48 hours has elapsed, sand and clean the surface before recoating.
