KBS RustSeal Satin Black 1L Rust Preventive Coating

KBS RustSeal Satin Black is a premium single-component moisture-cured rust preventive coating designed to permanently seal and protect metal surfaces from corrosion. Its high solids formulation penetrates rust and porous surfaces, creating a rock-hard ceramic-like finish that provides exceptional resistance to abrasion, chemicals, fuels, road salts and moisture.

The Satin Black finish delivers an OEM-style appearance while protecting chassis, suspension components, trailers, marine equipment and structural steel from harsh operating conditions. Suitable for application over properly prepared rusted or bare steel, RustSeal self-levels to produce a smooth professional finish with minimal brush marks.

The 1 litre size is ideal for chassis restoration, suspension refurbishment, engine bays, fabricated steel, trailers and general rust prevention projects. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray and is compatible with most automotive paint systems once fully cured.

As Step 3 of the KBS 3 Step Total Rust Eradication System, RustSeal provides permanent corrosion protection while withstanding temperatures up to 316°C. For surfaces exposed to prolonged UV light, KBS recommends top coating with a UV-stable coating such as KBS BlackTop to maintain long-term colour and durability.
