KBS RustSeal Satin Black 4L Rust Preventive Coating

KBS RustSeal Satin Black is a premium single-component moisture-cured rust preventive coating designed to permanently seal and protect metal surfaces from corrosion. Its high solids formulation penetrates rust and porous surfaces, creating a rock-hard ceramic-like finish that delivers exceptional resistance to abrasion, chemicals, fuels, road salts and moisture.

The Satin Black finish closely replicates the appearance of many OEM chassis coatings, making it ideal for restorations where an original factory look is required. Suitable for application directly over properly prepared rusted or bare steel, RustSeal self-levels to produce a smooth professional finish with minimal brush marks.

The economical 4 litre size is ideal for complete chassis restorations, trailers, 4WDs, commercial vehicles, suspension components, marine equipment and industrial steelwork. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray and is compatible with most automotive paint systems once cured.

As Step 3 of the KBS 3 Step Total Rust Eradication System, RustSeal provides permanent corrosion protection while withstanding temperatures up to 316°C and maintaining outstanding resistance to impacts, chemicals and harsh operating environments. While RustSeal has moderate UV stability, surfaces exposed to prolonged sunlight should be top coated with a UV-stable coating such as KBS BlackTop for maximum durability.
