KBS Adhesion Promoter is a coating additive designed to improve direct adhesion to metallic and non-ferrous metal surfaces. It can be added to KBS DiamondFinish ClearCoat as well as other compatible solvent-based coatings, including primers and sealers.

The phosphatising additive promotes adhesion by creating a layer on the metal surface for the coating to bond to. Because this process is invisible, KBS Adhesion Promoter can also be used with clear coatings where the appearance of the underlying metal needs to remain visible.
