FERTAN Rust Converter 1L Rust Treatment & Corrosion Protection
FERTAN Rust Converter is one of the world's most recognised rust treatment systems, developed to chemically convert rust while stabilising steel surfaces prior to painting or long-term corrosion protection. Manufactured in Germany and trusted by restoration professionals worldwide, FERTAN uses a tannin-based formulation that reacts with rust to create a stable protective layer while helping prevent further corrosion.
Suitable for automotive restoration, chassis protection, marine maintenance, industrial equipment and structural steel applications, FERTAN penetrates rusted surfaces and reaches deep into porous corrosion layers. Unlike many conventional rust converters, FERTAN is designed to work within the rust structure, helping neutralise corrosion before subsequent coating systems are applied.
Widely used on classic cars, four-wheel drives, trailers, marine equipment, machinery and industrial steelwork, FERTAN provides an effective solution for rust remediation and corrosion control where complete abrasive blasting is not practical. Its water-based formulation makes application simple while delivering professional-grade rust treatment performance.
