DNA Basecoat Reducer is a specially formulated automotive paint reducer designed for use with compatible DNA Custom Paints basecoat systems. This medium-speed reducer helps achieve the correct paint consistency for spray application and supports consistent colour reproduction and finish quality.

Suitable for DNA Profile, Metallic and HeliX BaZecoats, Candy Basecoats and Color-Shift Basecoats, it can also be used with High Definition Intercoat when mixing special-effect powders or pearls. Using the recommended DNA reducer helps minimise compatibility issues such as poor drying, colour variation and delamination.

The medium-speed formulation is recommended for application temperatures of approximately 20–30°C. Always follow the mixing instructions in the technical data sheet for the specific DNA coating being applied.
