PPS is a comprehensive painting system from 3M, which delivers cleaner jobs, reduces solvent usage and gun cleaning time, and can enhance operator efficiency by up to 15%. Specially designed adapters enable painters to utilize the PPS system with almost any spray gun. PPS replaces conventional mixing cups and filters, significantly cutting down the amount of solvent needed for gun cleaning. The liner, lid, and built-in filter are all disposable, leaving only the adapter and spray gun to be cleaned. It's possible to clean your paint gun with as little as 3 ounces of solvent. With these disposable parts, shops can achieve a 70% reduction in cleaning solvent usage - resulting in reduced operator exposure to solvents and lower VOC emissions.
