Mastic always remains supple and flexable

I havent used the new tube yet but have use the butyl mastic product over the years, I have just in stalled the rear cab window using the original mount rubber that has been cleaned as best I could after painting the cab and experience tells me the new window sealers which needs a black primer will let go two or three years later reusing the old rubber.
What I love about Butyl mastic is it will stick to the old rubber like the proverbial to a blanket and remain supple as it dose'nt harden like the new stuff and wont let go, so I know water cant get in with any movement of the glass or the rubber in the window appature, ............ you can't beat a time proven product.
