BOSTIK 1669 Polyurethane Contact Adhesive 4L

Bostik 1669 is a translucent, solvent-based polyurethane contact adhesive developed for demanding bonding applications in the footwear industry. Its medium-viscosity formulation offers excellent heat and creep resistance, making it particularly suitable for attaching leather, PVC, polyurethane and thermoplastic rubber (TPR) pre-moulded shoe soles.

Designed for professional adhesive applications, Bostik 1669 provides good brushability, low staining and excellent UV resistance. Its versatile formulation is also suitable for bonding flexible PVC sheeting and repairing PVC inflatable boats, subject to the manufacturer's preparation and application requirements.

Supplied in a 4 litre container, Bostik 1669 is suited to footwear manufacturing, sole attachment and specialist PVC bonding work. Proper surface preparation is essential, and some materials require specific cleaning, priming or curing procedures before bonding.
