3M Scotch Fine Line Tape 218 is a high-performance film-backed masking tape designed to produce crisp, sharp paint lines for automotive refinishing, custom painting and precision masking applications. This 3 pack provides three 25.4mm x 54.8m rolls for a total of 164.4 metres of tape.
The specially processed polypropylene film backing performs well when creating long straight lines while remaining flexible enough to form smooth curves. A natural rubber adhesive provides strong initial adhesion, while the tape offers excellent resistance to moisture and most solvents.
Fine Line Tape 218 can be applied over fresh paint sooner than conventional paper masking tapes with less risk of imprint damage. Its thin profile makes it well suited to professional automotive, marine and custom paint applications where clean colour separation is required.
