3M Scotch Fine Line Tape 218 is a high-performance film-backed masking tape designed to produce crisp, sharp paint lines for automotive refinishing, custom painting and other precision masking applications. Its thin polypropylene film backing provides excellent colour line separation with a low-profile edge.
The specially processed film backing performs well when creating long straight lines while remaining flexible enough to form smooth curves. A natural rubber adhesive provides strong initial adhesion, while the tape offers excellent resistance to moisture and most solvents.
Fine Line Tape 218 can be applied over fresh paint sooner than conventional paper masking tapes with less risk of imprint damage. This 25.4mm x 54.8m green roll is suitable for professional automotive, marine and custom paint masking where a clean paint edge is required.
