Sandpaper

Sandpaper is an abrasive material used to smooth, shape, or clean surfaces by rubbing away small amounts of material. It consists of a backing paper coated with abrasive grains such as aluminium oxide or silicon carbide and is available in various grit sizes (such as 2000 grit sandpaper & 3000 grit sandpaper) for different levels of sanding, from coarse to fine. Commonly used in automotive, woodworking, and DIY projects, sandpaper is essential for surface preparation, ensuring proper adhesion of paints, primers, and finishes. Some is also available as wet and dry sandpaper.
