This soft density foam pad features 3M's Clean Sanding 6-hole pattern for effective dust evacuation with 6-hole discs. The Hookit attachment makes disc change-out fast and easy, maximizing disc life.
3M designed the 3M Hookit Clean Sanding Painter’s Back-up Pad for auto body sanding jobs requiring a finer finish, such as application of color, primer and clear coat. The 6-inch diameter soft-density foam body has a 15-degree taper for flexibility when sanding along contours or close to edges. The disc pad features 5/16-24 external threads which are compatible with orbital or random orbital sanders that have 5/16-24 internal threads.
