This low VOC formulation combines powerful gasket remover strength with an innovative delivery system. Its fast-foaming action penetrates the most stubborn or baked-on, solvent-based gaskets in 15-20 minutes. The built-in brush-tip was designed for easy application and allows for scrubbing on intricate surfaces. This product is NOT for use on silicone gaskets. Level 2 Suggested Applications: Removes solvent-based gasketing and gasket sealant products including all Permatex® FormA-Gasket ®, Spray-A-Gasket®, Indian Head®, High Tack™ Gasket Sealants and Dressings, and residual gasket material.

Gasket remover for Permatex shellac & aviation

Some of us still use Permatex (Indian Head) shellac, and Aviation Form a Gasket for "I don't want to have to do this again" repair work. In the distant future, when you find yourself having to remove these materials next time around, this remover works. If you have had to do this, you know what I mean and why it is valuable. May require two soakings, without having to go to a file or wire brush.
